Rofin-Baasel offers regularly-scheduled training programs by our PBET-Certified Instructors at our main facility in Boxborough, MA, and our Tempe, AZ, facility; on-demand maintenance classes at our Plymouth MI facility; or standard/custom classes at your facility on your laser systems. Factory hardware and software training is essential to fully realize the benefits of the tool and to protect your laser marking investment.

Programming and Applications, scheduled classes 

 

      LaserCAD Programming & Applications Training. 4-Days

4-day training class for LaserCAD software and applications training (based on Windows 2000/XP Operating System). Course is designed for Programmers, Project Managers, and those who design mark layouts. This is the right course for users of the PowerLine E with LaserCAD, StarMark systems, and EasyMark systems with LaserCAD. 

 

VisualLaserMarker (VLM) Programming & Applications Training.  4-Days

4-day training class for VLM software and applications training (based on Windows 2000/XP Operating System). Course is designed for Programmers, Project Managers, and those who design mark layouts. This is the right course for users of the PowerLine E with VLM, PowerLine D systems, PowerLine F Fiber lasers, and EasyMark systems with VLM. 

 

EasyMark Jewelry LaserCAD Programming & Applications. 2-Days

2-day training class specifically designed for jewelry marking using the EasyMark with LaserCAD. Course is designed for users of the EasyMark/Jewelry Laser Marker.  

 

EasyJewel VLM Programming & Applications. 2-Days: $1000

2-day training class specifically designed for jewelry marking using the EasyJewel Laser Marker with VLM, specifically designed for jewelry designers and manufacturers.  

 

4-day training class for Laser Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on the PowerLine E diode-pumped (DPY) Nd:YAG Laser Marking System. Designed for Maintenance Personnel and Engineers, the course includes laser safety, basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced corrective maintenance procedures.  

 

     PowerLine E Air Preventive/Corrective Maintenance.  4-Days

4-day training class for Laser Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on the PowerLine E Air diode-pumped (DPY) Nd:YAG Laser Marking System. Designed for Maintenance Personnel and Engineers, the course includes laser safety, basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced corrective maintenance procedures.  

 

      PowerLine D Preventive/Corrective Maintenance.  4-Days

4-day training class for Laser Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on the PowerLine D diode-pumped (DPY) Nd:YAG Laser Marking System. Designed for Maintenance Personnel and Engineers, the course includes laser safety, basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced corrective maintenance procedures. 

 

StarMark (LPY or DPY) Preventive/Corrective Maintenance.  4-Days

4-day training class for Laser Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on the StarMark lamp-pumped or diode-pumped Nd:YAG Laser Marking System. Designed for Maintenance Personnel and Engineers, the course includes laser safety, basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced corrective maintenance procedures. 

 

      PowerLine F (Fiber) Operation and Maintenance Training.  3-Days

Comprehensive 3-day training class for Laser Operation and Maintenance on the PowerLine F diode-pumped (DPY) Ytterbium Laser Marking System. Designed for Maintenance Personnel and Engineers, the course includes laser safety, basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced corrective maintenance procedures. This class runs 8:30AM to 5PM daily, Tuesday through Thursday. 

 

Basic Software and Maintenance, scheduled on an “as needed” basis 

 

  PowerLine D or E Basic Software and Maintenance.  4-Days

2 days of VLM or LaserCAD software training (Windows 2000 operating system), and 2 days of PowerLine E maintenance training. Designed for users requiring a more general knowledge of the system, those who will run preset laser marking routines, or first-time laser users. Includes laser safety, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. 

 

      StarMark Basic Software and Maintenance.  4-Days

2 days of LaserCAD software training (Windows 2000 operating system), and 2 days of StarMark maintenance training. Designed for users requiring a more general knowledge of the system, those who will run preset laser marking routines, or first-time laser users. Includes laser safety, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
